Tara, you're getting your leg pulled when they say Rockwall. It's a small town about 20 miles east of Dallas.

Try the Galleria area, The Tollway north of LBJ635 or Addison. Lots of hotels and good restaurants.

Sorry to burst your small bubble but factually, The Dallas area is actually less than one mile from Rockwall/Horizon Road (who do you think responds to LE/Emergency calls on Lake Ray Hubbard or the I30 bridge?). Sorry, about that redness spreading across your face (aka a bitch slap). Too easy...

If you consider Commerce street to be the center of the City of Dallas (which is a different issue altogether), how far away is the Galleria from that? (it's over 11 miles) lol... (let's consider that a gimme because I kinda feel sorry for you)

So, the Dallas City Limit marker is used to determine the distance between Dallas and Rockwall, but the center of Dallas (presumably, Commerce Street) is used to determine the distance to the Galleria area - Really??!! Even the Three Stooges couldn't dream up that slap-stick math - and you're here repping ...... Oh, that's right - Rockwall - right, right .... So, the lovely lady can rely on your Rockwall math "skills" should she decide to have some company while she visits.
