Tips for Newbies - From a Provider's Perspective
You may be new to the boards, new to the hobby in general or a lurker who has been reticent about taking the plunge. Maybe you were a Backpage surfer and managed to find your way to ECCIE... now what?
Perhaps you are looking for companionship, a good time or whatever you want to call it. Great!
My recommendation is for you to take a moment, slow down and look for the information you want. You most likely want a provider who is reliable, will not give you the run around, has good reviews/recommendations, and someone you feel you will get along with.
GATHER INFORMATION
Verified providers here have Showcases. Showcases usually have photos of the provider, her contact information, her bio as well as other information about appointment booking. You should READ these showcases, not just look at pics before making contact. There is usually alot of valuable information that will clear up any questions and confusion you may have about arranging time with the provider.
If the provider has a Website link in her Showcase, follow that link and READ what her website has to say first.
Many providers will list their preferred method of contact.
PROVIDER ADS SECTION
There are two provider ads sections under each location forum: Provider Ads and Weekend Line-up Providers may post here weekly. You should definitely check out these two sections regularly for providers offering Specials, New provider ads, Visiting provider ads, etc...
REVIEWS
Reviews are a great resources to find out a little more about the provider, and what you might expect. Generally, you should use the reviews to guage if the provider is RELIABLE, ON TIME, LOOKS LIKE HER PICS and is RECOMMENDED by the reviewer. *Keep in mind that the provider does not write the reviews herself and the review is not a direct advertisement of services.
Rates
Also, be sure to verify with the provider what her current rates are (or where to find them) and not just go off of the review since some guys may have seen the provider with a special rate, or client discount etc.
SCREENING
Different providers have different screening criteria. Many providers ask for references (or require references) from other providers you have visited with, who will vouch for your character. BUT, what about you newbies with no references? There are plenty of providers willing to meet with newbies (newbie friendly), provided you offer some additional information about yourself that can be verified.
Don't take screening the wrong way. Screening is for the provider's safety. You should also feel safe, if a well known, reputable provider asks to screen you before visiting. (A reputable provider is generally one who is known, advertises, has several valid reviews and generally a good reputation in the hobby.)
Don't take a risk seeing an unknown provider who does not screen or marginally screens you. You might possibly be walking into a trap, bait and switch, getting robbed or worse!
DON'T ASSUME
If you are not sure about something, ask the provider directly. This is probably the best way to clear up any confusion regarding, booking, screening, availability or what kind of guys she is willing to see.
BE A GENTLEMAN
Having some tact, being respectful and courteous goes a long way with a provider.
I hope some of you find this information helpful!
