I left NY years ago for a big career change and greatly enhanced income. But reading this article from Andrew Sullivan reminds me of some other reasons I left NY and why Texas does have some big advantages: http://dish.andrewsullivan.com/2013/...and-bed-beard/ Sullivan left Washington DC and moved to NYC within the last year. There are a lot of great thing about NYC and NY state that I miss. But high prices and lousy service wear on you after a while. Sully is just getting used to it. (Sorry to disappoint you IBH, but I didn't leave because I "failed" in NY, you little twat.)
