I'm happy about Cruz. Why? He and Rand Paul along with a few House members are keeping the Repbulican't party dead center in the obstruction zone. This is not good for the country, but it IS good for the Democrats. By the time the next census rolls around the state Republican parties will abandon their gerrymandered "safe" districts so fast all of their heads will explode due to the imbalance. They will be tired of legitimate candidates whoi might actually win being "primaried" by fringe teawipe rat-wangers and will be obliged to redraw the districts to marginalize those dumbasses' influence.

Of course by then, Texas will have turned BLUE and Cruz as well as Cornyn will be out on their collective arses.
