As was predicted by many people there is a shortage of doctors. This time it is in California which is one of the states actively preparing for the debacle. Other states will probably find the same when they gear up. So, as predicted again, it is being proposed that nurses will step and treat patients as doctors or pass them on to an appointment sometime in the future for a real doctor. This is how the Canadian system evolved and this was all predicted for Obamacare. So go ask a Canadian why they come to the US for serious, life saving surgery when time is important. Also take into account how many medical professionals have indicated that they will choose retirement to working for the government.
