I think the problem you guys will run into is that no third party candidate will really be able to have a viable shot against a Republican or Democrat candidate in a general election so you're going to be left with the choice of either voting for a third party candidate who isn't going to win (and pretty much guaranteeing a Democrat victory if enough people vote for the 3rd party candidate) or you have to bite the bullet and vote for whomever the Republicans put up.

I don't like it any more than you guys do, but both parties are such juggernauts right now and have such a monopoly on the political process that, like a corporate monopoly, they'll just crush any third party that pops up and poses any significant threat.

Just look at how much money was thrown into this past presidential election by both sides. There's no way anyone can possibly hope to come close to matching that.
