Mac Brown blew him off. Manziel would have played guard if Mac would have offered up a scholarship. Mac had Garrett, Ash, and McCoy signed up at the time. Two of those three cannot hit a barn.

Don't forget Manziel actually committed to Oregon. He changed his mind to be closer to home or something like that. Imagine if he were there with this year's team. Mariota, the current Oregon QB would be playing WR or RB. How would stop that offense?

Johnny Football reminds me of Doug Flutie. He will be amazing to watch over the next few years, but he lacks the height to ever be an NFL super-star. Like Flutie, he will be known for being a great college player and nothing more. Aside from that, I'm damn proud another Texan won the trophy again.
Never say never bigdon! RG3's is only 6'2...217...only an inch taller, and 17 pounds heavier...who knows Manziel may still be growing! (lol)

Russell Wilson, Seahawks rookie QB, is listed at 5'11" and he's not starting off too poorly.

There's also another guy you might have heard of, Drew Brees is listed at 6 foot tall and seems to be doing ok in the NFL......

With his abilities to move and throw on the run I think a lot of teams would like to have a QB like Manziel on their team, unfortunately it won't be the Cowboys because Jerry Jones is still in love with Romo.....

The Heisman is often a curse. Hopefully not the case with JF.
