Fox Noise finally takes Rove and Morris off the field

Fox News chief Roger Ailes has instructed his staff to keep Rove off camera as he works to reposition the cable news station after the election, New York Magazine reported.

Rove exposed Fox to some ridicule on Election Night after he refused to accept that Mitt Romney had lost the state of Ohio, forcing host Megyn Kelly to interrogate the in-house team that made the call.

Later, he insisted that Obama only won by “suppressing the vote.”

New York Magazine reported that multiple sources say Ailes was angry over Rove’s Election Night meltdown. An Ailes spokesperson, however, told the magazine that there is no rift.

Dick Morris is another high-profile pundit getting benched by Fox. Morris was widely mocked for predicting a Romney “landslide” right before the election.

Later, he said he was trying to keep the Romney campaign’s hopes alive, although he also believed he was right at the time.


Ailes’ deputy, Fox News programming chief Bill Shine, has ordered producers to seek permission before booking either Rove or Morris for the time being, New York Magazine said.

A Fox News spokesperson confirmed the new booking rules to the magazine, but said Shine's message was merely that "the election's over."

our tea pukes do not understand yet that Fox News is rebranding along with the GOP. These two numbnuts were selling fantasy polling numbers. It is harder to fire their network hosts than to just get new guests. Rove and Morris just propagate the old white man syndrome anyway. Fox will replace them with big tittied white chicks!

Hmmmm, not a bad idea. She's had a few months practice "fluffing" for Tennie-Man-Beck over in Southlake. Of course the level of paranoia at Faux Noise may not measure up to what it is in Beckville so she may feel a little unsettled by the mother ship's laxity.

I heard every Friday Fox will have chips, salsa, and a bucket of ice cold Corona longnecks on their center table, a statue of Martin Luther King in the background, and all the white girls will be wearing pink Breast cancer awareness bows on their jackets .. its called Ethnic Friday ... their version of reaching out to the voters that shun the GOP
