Hitler was successful with his barrow and spend plan
for one reason, he eliminated waste. The money was
actually used to create real jobs and pump the money
back into the economy through consumer spending,
of course a lot of the jobs were building up the Nazi
war machine. Simple return on investment at work.

The temporary success of a megalomaniac, but then the
old absolute power corrupting absolutely thing takes over
and it all just goes to shit.

Eliminating waste had nothing to do with it.

The Nazis did what no one else had the authority or audacity to do in a capitalist society. They simply hired all the unemployed people by giving them temporary jobs in agriculture and construction. That was in 1933-1934, and it had absolutely nothing to do with rearmament, which was years later.

As for Hitler being a megalomaniac, I don't think a psychologist would agree with you.

But the facts are that Hitler was much more intelligent, had a higher IQ, than all of his classmates in grammer school. The guy was a brainiac - just face it. In elementary school and in the first years of secondary school he was the smartest kid around, and he knew very well that everyone around him were his intellectual inferiors.

Of course he believed he was smarter than everyone else. He was. That isn't megalomania.

When he got out of the Army his powers of persuasion and speech were stunning. He spoke more persuasively and with intelligence than any other person in public life without any teleprompter or other aids. He spoke completely spontaneously.

He was a genius.

He may have been an evil genius.

But there's no denying he was a genius.

Rearmament began under President Ebert who came before Hitler. Rearmament had been going on almost a decade before Hitler showed up. So lets give credit to where it is due. Need proof? Look up the Treaty of Rapallo.

Ok, I see how this game is played, say something and the other
guy says something different.

Eliminated waste is exactly what he did, the money went
directly to creating jobs for German people without, oh
lets say, over half of it being lost in government waste.

Hitler already had his plans for conquest and much of
the products that were made were for the purpose
of building up Germany for that reason, roads, bridges,
efficient factories and manufacturing procedures.

How could Germany go to war without all that in place
first, later actual war products began to be made.

Your right about the megalomania though. He wasn't
a megalomaniac he was the megalomaniac of all time.

Only a close second to Barry.

Nobody else in any capitalist economy implimented a full employment program like the Nazis did. You are suggesting that the NRA or something would have resulted in full employment in the US except for "waste." I think you massive overestimate the role of "waste" in government.

Oh brother not this again.

It should now be well understood what the motives for war were, and they were not "bent on world conquest and plunder!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah those evil Nazis, yeah!!"

The Germans built infrastructure because they needed it like everyone else did. For you to claim that the US needed the interstate highway system but if the Germans do it then it's for "conquest!,,,,,,"

In 1934 the Germans were outnumbered something like 110 to 1 in all categories of men and arms. Even when the war started they were really unprepared. For example they had less than 40 submarines when the war started and something like 400 when it ended.
They did start to re-arm beginning about 1936 after the Treaty of Lucarno was abrogated by the French, but their tanks and other materials were not that impressive until well into the war. The Soviet and British and French tanks for example, in the mid 1930s far outclassed anything the Germans had.

Your right about the megalomania though. He wasn't
a megalomaniac he was the megalomaniac of all time.

If he were a megalomaniac he would have nothing to show for his efforts and would have failed at everything he did. What made him exceptional was that except for losing against the Soviet Union he succeeded against all odds at everything he attempted.

When everywhere you go all you life you're the smartest guy in the room, the building, the city, etc....you're gonna get really confident in your own abilities.

But that's not megalomania.

Megalomania is like...Bill Gates or Warren Buffett or idiots like those people who get lucky, make tons of mistakes, and LOOOOVE to have people cater to them and fly around in private jets and yachts and build colossal mansions....but are really nothing more than pirates.

Only a close second to Barry.

Barry Sotoroe can't hold a candle to Hitler in terms of speechmaking. I'd like to see Barry give any kind of speech without a teleprompter. The guy's a dullard.

You like to argue in a circle and create your own little
set of facts and realities, I new a guy like you once,
always thought that he had some kind of special
insight into the true reality of things and had a bit
of a superiority complex as well. Hey, long time no
see what else you been up to all these years.

I'm wise to the game, you probably don't believe
even half the stuff you write and just do it to
see what kind of reaction you will get out of people.
