I haven't heard anyone say that they would leave the country other than Kool Aid drinking liberals. Do you have proof of someone else? That having been said I need to put a rush on buying some farming property away from town.

Doesn't seem so bad now.
An honest man - and a realist. Wonder what will happen when the economy quits sucking?

Hey Dude I dunno what planet you're from but this economy will NEVER recover.

The only thing that's been propping it up the last five years has been trillions in unsustainable Federal debt.

By the second year of the next term there will be a debt crisis which will make Greece and Spain look like peanuts.

When the Federal government slashes spending and debt the economy will tank once and for all, and their will be NO RECOVERY FROM THAT.

This economy is finished because we're running colossal trade deficits and have no manufacturing left. We've shipped all our jobs overseas and they're never coming back.

btw

Ruger Arms is up by 600 %. Invest in handguns.

I am in a very specific manufacturing industry that tends to be immune to many of the economic quirks that plague others. Of course, we are in Houston. where it is hard NOT to make money if you haver any inititive at all.

We have been doing this for over 40 years. PM me and I will tell you what we do.

Actually I stand corrected.

The reason why the Norwegians are rolling in cash is because they're in the oil business.

There are a lot of people in Texas in the oil business that are making loads of money.

If you're one of those guys than more power to ya.

Life in the oil patch is good.

Oil E&P and related businesses are booming. Gas, not so much. Patent litigation is still quite healthy. PI litigation is generally immune from the up and downs of the economy although verdicts decline a bit in tough times. Those are a couple of thinks I know about.

I think you need a little fairy to whisper in your ear and tell you that prostitution is very illegal in Norway.

..."verdicts" mean nothing without a source to pay them ... as the financial "playing field" is leveled by the "take-down" of wealthy individuals and corporations to redistribute "the wealth" through increased taxation and regulation the "rich targets' of litigation will rapidly disappear and the lucrative "PI" business will evaporate with them.

What Obminable cannot get rammed through Congress, because of the House, he will "regulate" with "orders" and agency rulings. He has already shown that propensity....so your "alternative" resource is in jeopardy with a "green" .. "assessment" ... on fossil fuel energy sources to "even the playing field" and fund R&R and Federal supplements to "Green" companies for his pet dreams of a Green Utopia.

If one wants to see how that works ... look back into the Arkansas clean-water initiative orchestrated by Bill Clinton while Governor ... pushed and manilupated through with Arkansas legislation to clean up Arkansas creeks and rivers .. with an exception for chicken parts, including feathers and guts, ... and then look farther into Arkansas political history to discover who was Clinton's initial and primary financier for his jump start into politics. That model portrays the foundation for Obaminable's...

"Greening of America" ....

Or just look into his "Greening of Europe" ...

......... neither really give a shit about the environment ... they are paying political debt.....or punishing the lack of political loyalty as the killing of the pipeline deal on the basis that more "environmental impact" studies must be done before the project can be approved.

The EPA is the new bully on the block and the "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act" is the new Non-Union small business siphon and axe for the Internal Revenue.

Enjoy!

If you apply for a "wind farm" grant, the "new" taxpayers will buy it for you! Once you get that in place, apply for the grant funding a study of the emotional impact and growth retardation potential of wind generators on corn (alternate fuel source).

Then retire with the augmented social security and medicaid benefits derived from the "new" taxpayers who are going to be sucked dry to pay for the entitlements.

DO NOT hire any farm workers .. they will be organizing.

LexusBlubber, that's why they play the games instead of awarding wins and losses based on the rosters and depth charts. Let's just say that we'll see whether or not you teapanty parrotriots' Chicken Little projections come to pass.
