sorry ladies, but I never get the designer shoe thing....

shoes that can actually be worn (but not too much lest they fall apart) and cost anywhere from $500 to $1000/pair and can't hold up to normal wear and tear (being worn maybe 1x/wk)... I have spent many hrs in each of the 7 cities that my SO and I have lived in over the last 17 yrs, looking to find shoe repair technicians/magicians that will willingly work on the shoes, so that they last more than a year.... on the other hand, I have numerous pairs of Allen-Edmunds hand-made mens shoes that are 10-15 yrs old and look almost brand new.... every few yrs you ship them back to the factory and they rebuild them for you, for a fraction of the initial cost

I can't see spending tons of money on designer shoes, although having one pair each of Jimmy Choos or Prada once in my life would be cool!
I do manage to find some pretty awesome and sexy shoes at reasonable prices. These are obviously not made to wear to the corner market! But they are cool to look at.
The spider shoes, whether the spider is real or not, are going to give me nightmares tonight!
