Guys-- What works best for you?

I only use email until the day we are meeting , just about everyone has a bb, phone or some kind of smartphone and can check it .I use to list my phone and it never stopped ringing and 90% of it was someone just to talk .So I say email and a hobby phone as I once had to use my real cell with someone when my hobby line was down and he posted the # so def get a hobby line .

Naomi, you really must have, e-mail, phone and text all in one device. Any of the major carriers will have an affordable device that can do all 3. I use all 3 because at times the computer is best for e-mail, but some times I need the secracy of text and sometimes I need you to call me right away (on the hobby phone of course). I'm not sure this will help your decision much, but it's the best way to contact me!!

If you need directions, go to New York and take a right!!! Then e-mail me, text me or call me on your new phone!!

Email for initial contact and phone for final directions works best from my POV. I'd like to know if your tour brings you to Texas.

Yes, email till final details/directions on phone. Get a smartphone to access a hotmail/gmail,etc account and then a hobby phone for calls.

I prefer to just use telepathy, saves lots of time and trouble.

First contact is via email. After screening, I give out my phone number.

I do offer to talk to hobbyist on the phone before screening, BUT THEY must send their phone number and good times to call.

It seems to work well so far.

I tell ladies I contact that I can communicate by email, text or phone. My least favorite is phone. I also say that if I can't talk at the time they call, I'll tell them I'll call right back when I can.

I prefer to use PM or e mail through this or other sites, because there is a little more security from LE, wife or other seeing the information. Through these sites, you have less exposure to LE unless they raid the site and get the server. With a phone, those records are much more readily available if you do not clear your phone or if they wanted a court order for your phone records. Even with e mail and PM, I clean my computer regularly with software that clears everything I trash. It may take a little longer to work out details through PM or e mail, but it has worked for me on every occasion and kept my phone out of it.
