Im in town until Thursday... saw a rock bar by Concrete Street and will definitely be checking it out... any other cool spots I should hit up while I am here? Thanks in advance! Muah! GL

During the week, its kinda of slow around here. I have a friend that has a comedy show on Tues., Wed., and Thursdays and Los Comales Restaurant. He does majic and has a pretty good comedy act. Strip clubs are fun around. The Palace, Cheatahs, and Cabaret are a few. Of these, I particularly like the Palace. Saw the fight on Saturday at the Palace. Wednesday nights at Whiskey River is pretty good. Young college crowd with country western music. Gets real packed. Mollys Pub on McArdle is a good karaoke place. Mostly local people there.

DR Rockits blues bar is pretty good, or used to be. I haven't been in a while. It's on Chaparral st.

I love going to Brewster Street while I'm in Corpus Christi. Thursday nights are PACKED and normally have a good act playing. Get tickets in advance as they tend to sell out.

Executive Surf Club is a great place for happy hour as in immediately after 5pm. They close at 11pm, I believe, and cater specifically to the after work crowd.

Tuesday at the Executive Surf Club is the bomb, with $2 pints - their burgers are awesome!
