Puff the magic dragon
Smoked two packs a day
His teeth looked like a yellow cab
His lungs were awful grey

Now Puff and his old lady
Decided to cut back
And only have one after sex
And share one from the pack

But Puff became so lonely
When his wife began to play
Now he smokes only once a week
And she - three packs a day!

Actually, the first operational "Puff" - the one that started the nickname - was a converted C-47 cargo plane (the military version of the venerable DC-3). Here's a link to some of the history, for those of you who are interested:

And yes, it (and it's replacements, the AC-119 and then the AC-130) was one extremely bad-ass machine!
