Default Pet Peeves do you have one!

Do you have any thing or anyone that gets under your skin?

I hate drivers that are so close I cannot see their hood (I drvie Ford Pickup) or at night I cannont see their lights. Very dangerous and can be deadly.

When you are having a conversation with someone. A person walks up and just starts talking to one of you.

Tell us yours!

My biggest pet peeve is people who lie and do it to hurt others or for personal gain. But thankfully I'm a BIG believer in Karma and Karma hasn't let me down yet.

Default Let's see... Where do I start?

Just to name a few... Drivers who ride your ass, don't use their blinkers, change lanes excessively at a high rate of speed, don't come to a complete stop at a stop sign, run red lights, drive at night or early morning with their headlights off, run stop signs on a school bus, speed thru a school zone, text on a cell, talk on a cell, slow drivers, fast drivers, drivers who honk or flip you off thinking their right and you're wrong, drivers who don’t slow down when it’s a heavy rain/fog, and wrong way drivers… I've been driving commercial vehicles since I was eighteen years of age and I'm still at it. Trust me; I've seen it all... Also, and this is not driving related, Thieves and Liars...

Pet peeves?

Yes, I have a few...

  • Members who reply to ISO threads with posts that do not help the OP with their question or are otherwise off topic.
  • Members who repeatedly disregard the Forum Guidelines.
  • Members who are rude to others in these forums.
  • Guys who kick women when they are down.
  • Those who do not possess any kind of common sense.
  • Those who behave with a shopping cart in the store as badly as they drive a car.
  • Raisins in oatmeal cookies.
  • Marshmallows in hot chocolate.
  • Nuts in brownies.
  • Seasoning on french fries.
  • Anything else in pizza besides cheese and tomato sauce.
  • The disappearance of the Nabisco Baronet vanilla sandwich cookie.
  • The disappearance of plain Doritos.
  • White chocolate.
  • Granola
  • Trail mix.
  • Guacamole.
  • An eating establishment removing an item from their menu after it had become my favorite item on that menu.
  • Shoes that cost as much as a flat screen TV.
  • Clothes that cost as much as a car.
  • Cars that cost as much as a house.

I am sure I will think of a few more.

One of my pet peeves are people who don't own mirrors.

Very true Malaya...that's a big one for sure! As they say, "the webs we weave." Karma isn't about punishment, but rather the total effect of a person's actions and conduct...cause and effect.

If you nurture your spirit, and those around you...with honesty and goodwill...you will attract good karma...not be deprived, unless you will it for your life. By understanding the stages of Karma...you will understand your place in the world...and have the ability to take control of your life.

2.waking up in pain where their shouldn't be any.
3. Failing despite my best efforts.
4. Succeeding w/o knowing how so that I might do it again.

Wastefulness
Equating wealth w/intelligence
$200 cars w/$1000 rims
Cheap shoes
Whining
Dirty windows
New "antiques"
Footnotes
Badly pruned trees
Department store bicycles
"Shopping"
Unripe tomatoes in salad
Small bathtubs
Bad lighting
Dull knives
Not knowing the difference: there, their, they're; to, too, two
Dear John letters, emails or texts
Business meetings
Fiberglass boats
Incompetent surgeons

There's more, I can be quite the curmudgeon if I let myself!

I really don't let stuff get under my skin.

Although, I usually act when some situations arise...

When I think others are being treated unfairly, due to a mob mentality.

When a point is made and reiterated a few more times for good sport.

When people take themselves too serious.

When people take ME seriously.

I'm a clown. I enjoy making people laugh and laughing at people. I know that I may get under a few people's skin, but I really don't mean harm.

It's just a website guys, this isn't who we really are in real life. Have fun with it. We shouldn't let dumb comments get under our skin. We don't need the additional stress in our lives.
