New documentary about escorts by escorts

Have you ever wondered what the life of an escort is outside the bedroom? Who are they and what are they like and what are their hopes? Kristen Diangelo an escort who visits Chicago has taken the bold step of gathering 11 escorts, some of their families (mothers, husbands etc) and allowed them to open up. This film "American Courtesans" has just launched a trailer and website www.americancourtesans.com that provides a glimpse of what we may see when it is released. I read the bios over and over and watched the trailer with rapt attention. Kristen hopes to show the film at Sundance and I can't wait to see it.

A documentary about escorts by escorts is a good thing. Too much of the public's knowledge of escorts is shaped by those who are outside of the escort industry altogether.....
