When interviewed, Generic replied, "I can win if those idiots don't actually nominate a real candidate like Romney or Perry. They will screw it up. I'm the only Republican who can win."

As long as the Republicans don't have a candidate, they will win. As soon as they nominate someone, they're toast.

Yeah, you're absolutely right....what's amusing is that you don't have a "generic republican." Ronald Reagan was a generic Republican. Bush 1 was a generic republican. John McCain is a generic Republican. "Generic Republicans" didn't risk the country's financial security by holding it hostage by refusing to raise the debt ceiling for ideological reasons. Generic republicans might have disagreed with democrats but they would compromise and do what was best for the country after some horse-trading. That Republican is not any of the republicans running for president now with the possible exception of Romney...who will pay lip service to the foaming at the mouth base but will go his own way if he gets elected.

Hell, I might vote for a "generic republican" (but I kinda fucking doubt it)....I damn sure won't vote for any of the looney-tunes currently being touted.

Plus, that gives him 5 years to drop 50 or 60 lbs. I guess the last hope is Sarah Palin and I understand from the latest news flash from Hannity that she still thinks she has time to get into it. It must be driving you crazy.

It's Romney. It's always been Romney. And if it's not Romney, you guys are idiots. He is the only one who stands any sort of chance of beating Obama.
