Any one here remember the Democrat's National Nominating Convention in Chicago in the summer of 1968?

Radical leftists were frozen out of participating in the convention by traditional Democrat's machine. When they protest4df in the street, the local police of Mayor Daily beat them bloody. There were riots in the streets far more violent and bloody than the events of Jan 6, 2020.

I am hoping that the 2024 convention will not be repeat of that 2968 debacle. However, the are multiple serious contenders besides the incumbents. They could include Hillery Clinton, Gavin Newsome and Michell Obama . . .each with their own passionate constituency . . .one might anticipate something along the same lines as happened in 1968 from Antifa and Black Lives Matter.

Think about how Ms. Clinton has been screwed out of the presidency twice now, or how Bernie Saunders was maneuvered out of a chance at any office.

A side-bar to the possibility for politically driven unrest is the potential for another media-driven uprising over some George Floyd like event that has not yet happened. . . .or another spurious "Hands UP-Don't Shoot" fabrication.

Iam hoping that summer of 2024 does not become another 2020.

If I were VP Harris, I would be looking over my polit6ical shoulder. The way for the Democrats to finesse-in one or another of the non-incumbent contenders prior to the convention, is to first replace the VP with "the right" person, then drop the political hammer on President Biden.

Yep, I certainly do remember. The riots were in August I would have my tenth Birthday a month later in Sept. The Chicago Police and Chicago Mayor Richard Daley took a lot of criticism over the Police response to the protesters. The Police kicked a lot of ass but that's the way it's done when you have idiots that want to cause problems. An incident like 1968 can and probably will happen again the only difference the Police will be asked to stand down. Here's a short clip of that night.

Filing deadline for the primaries has long past. If Biden wins the delegate count it will be him. There is only one scenario where it won't be Biden. Biden would have to agree to release his delegates at the convention in Chicago.

It's okay if Biden puts a union hard hat on backwards at a union rally. He needs to stop saying he has had recent conversations with people who have been dead for five plus years.

Unemployment is low, inflation is falling, GDP numbers are good and the stock market is on fire. The S&P 500 and the NASDAQ indexs set all time highs a couple of weeks ago.

If enough delegates hold out, it would then be an open convention.

I’m old enough to remember here were riots , I was only 8 so really didn’t grasp what was all happening.
