That's a rough area, cops are always over there. It's right down the street from Richland College too. That intersection is a major ticket stop during the semester months, back in the day I used to see cops with radar guns getting folks left and right lol

I drove by the other day and saw 2 cops in the shopping center. it also doesn't help that Bistro B is open till midnight
