This is true. However, it's tough getting a response from anyone. My time is limited so I try to start messaging them an hour or 3 beforehand so I can set up. Last time I messaged 8, 8! girls to set ANYTHING up. And got zero responses. It's always either that, or they respond 6 hours later when the window is closed

Amen to that! I have had $200 burning a hole in my pocket for the last three weeks, trying every day to find someone to see (someone who's actually reasonable...), with absolutely no success. Smart guys don't send that stuff. Maybe you should do yourself a favor, every time you have $200 burning a whole in your pocket and can't get anyone reasonable to respond, just stash the $200 away. Do it a few times then take a trip somewhere where the hobby is much better (I personally go to Florida where there are lots of reasonably priced options and no bullshit) but now that the border is back open, Niagara Falls isn't far away

This. Totally this. Literally what I'm doing in two weeks. Though I was going to try to go to Thailand, then Germany, then I said fuck it lets go to Canada. Either that or just spend a week and a half home not working. Not a fan of a staycation when I've been WFH the past year.
