Addison has more restaurants than most anywhere.

Breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, late night.
American, Mexican, Italian, Asian, Cajun.
Steak, seafood, burgers, pizza, pub grub, Vegan, salad, dessert.
Formal, casual, fast.
Bar, bar, bar, bar, pub, bar.

The question really is, "What type of restaurant do you want?"

As for coffee shops, there's several. There are several Starbucks including one in Barnes & Noble. There's a couple of others. But, you might enjoy Snooze AM, nice breakfast/brunch place, with great food.

I may be a Colorado guy, but I can tell you that Nate's Seafood & Steakhouse in Addison is excellent.

The chicken fried steak is a butterflied rib eye that causes orgasms in your mouth. At least that is the way my lady friend who grew up in Addison looked when we ate there.
