This isn't a government mandate. That's between you and the bank. My credit union has, in almost 40 years, asked me for ID twice. One of those times was to open the account. One was to walk out with a 250k cashier's check.

So, your position is then that it is okay for the government to infringe on your rights the way it does buying a gun? Or, I'm going to assume that you are in favor of the government infringing your rights if you believe it's okay to do so to vote
or buy a gun.
I happen to believe it isn't okay in either case, because firearms and voting are enumerated rights which ought not be subject to "papers, please."

You can board an airplane without ID. I've done so post-9/11, principally to see if I could and make a stink about it if I couldn't.

Well, your understanding of how the voter rolls work is, by inference, flawed. You have no proof that there is anything even approaching regular voter fraud in PA. You have a system of beliefs which apparently seems okay with violation of just "certain" rights which would require "papers, please" which is as close as one can get to a communist without actually being Bernie Sanders.

I'm likely significantly to your right on everything which isn't Trumpian populist bullshit, so let me note: there is a certain irony of a supporter of a guy who lost the popular vote making noise about people being awful around power "you know you don't deserve."
