Bed? Couch? Furniture!

Its my last day on 280 before i move into my new place today! Anyone have any furniture (bed? Couch? Dresser? End tables?)

Hi Grace, I’m in Miramar Beach, FL, and have some furnishings you might want, but not sure how to get it to you. Do you have a moving truck or something like that?

No i do not! Is there a way they could ship it? I wonder how much that would be.. Is it even possible? Lol

I need a truck! Anyone have one I can rent for a couple hours? Any ideas?

This can be a very slippery slope.

To rent a truck, you would have to do by hour or for the day. Then you would have to pay for the mileage, and ensure the vehicle has a full tank of gas.

First, make sure that you really like the furniture you are about to get.

Second, if you are getting really nice stuff, you may want to consider offering a discount for the gentlemen that are helping you.

The reason I say to rethink this is because after you account for moving expenses, you could possibly have gone to Ashley Furniture or Rooms to Go and picked out a simple piece of decor, and have it delivered for cheaper.

Last thing is to look at your Goodwill places for furniture. I mean cabinets, dressers, and hardware. A lot of those can be refinished easily and cheaply to match your style.

For beds, you can get a memory foam mattress from Amazon that will expand once opened. A lot of these are inexpensive but very good quality.

Just combine it with a frame.

I think we have all done it on the bed couch and other furniture hah

If I was t helping a friend move this coming weekend I would offer to pick up and deliver but already committed and the following 3 weekends are spoken for as well
