Ok, I feel stupid because I've been writing software for a living for years. But, how do you make private tags? Is it . ?

when you write what you want to say, highlight those words and then click on 'Private'

You can also use standard bulletin board code

{PRIVATE}{/PRIVATE}

using square brackets instead of curly braces

The end result is the same is highlighting the text and clicking the PRIVATE button.

My advice: when posting something with private tags, always "preview post" so you're sure you got it correct.
