LA, SF or London? Or Somewhere else...
I have to leave Paris for a month ( not a vacation), it's a separation from my husband for me to think about my life. Where should I go? I have picked these three places since I have a place to stay in each.

I would say London for sure ( but then again I'm a bit partial to it .....But if you are wanting to get away from the cold for a while, then def go to the west coast....
Since you're already in France though, have you thought about taking the train down to Nice or Northern Italy? I find south of France one of the most relaxing places in the world....

Yeah, London would be the cheapest, I would love to to go to Italy, I just don't know anyone there so the hotel bill would probably be a lot for a month.
LA is good, I love SF, but I would have to stay with my parents which means I have to listen to my mom carping at me for a month. I am trying to go somewhere where I can think about what I am going to do next in my life.

You said it isn't a vacation, but I guess I consider any extended time out of town when one isn't working a vacation...& since you are considering staying with your Mom I assume you aren't working (at least in this profession)....
If you want to stay in a single location for a whole month there are a lot of less traditional options that may be more affordable than a hotel, particularly in "off season"

Try Ventimiglia, Italy...It's about a 30 min train ride from Nice...It's not a tourist town so you can rent a flat or something...Its a great little town with beautiful views...I was there in Feb of last year..here are some pics I took in Ventimiglia.

I don't think I can afford to stay in any of those places for a month, I can only stay where I know someone's house/apartment I can stay at...

LA
SoCal, hangin' on the beach, is about the best place on earth to get the f*** away and chill. Especially if one sails, surfs, or is willing to learn either. Being on the water there tends to get me refocused like nothing else.

Forget the above choices (except you are planning to work) - if you want to have a nice little vacation go to NICE. I can set you up with a real nice youth hostel (by far better than anyo of these hotels) AND a few sexy lovely gentlemen ! I have been there with my lover recently and WOW!
If you want to work though, i recommend San Francisco. London is stressful, and LA too many women and too "wide" for a european. San Francisco is lovely. MWah! btw, i tried to find you for exchanging banners, you don`t really have a homepage, do you? Like your blog.
Oh and btw: staying at other people`s places when you cannot afford hotels: Miami i have friends, contact me, i might be able to help, no promise though. And very helpful is something like www.couchsurfing.org .Not only does it offer great opportunities, but i also found two of my current longtime lovers on there. Yummy. ;-), and hey Julian Assange was on there too :-) So it can only get better, right??

do you know the villa saint exupery (the one outside not the one downtown) it is amazing!!! a youth hostel but the best and better than any hotel. Besides, good food and really cute and nice people, some of them who live there and work in Monaco and stuff. I would live there in a heartbeat!!
btw: love your tattoo, i have a similar one :-) great style!

Go to LA. That's where you'll find potential customers for a screenplay for Diary of an Escort. I'm halfway serious -- your blog has the makings for a movie better than most of them out there right now.
