I'm guilty. I used to do it all the time.

I recently saw this video on Facebook and I've made a personal promise to myself not to do it anymore.

Wanted to share. It's very disturbing. I guess I never fully realized how catastrophic the consequences could be.

I just downloaded the At&t app. I think it sends out an auto reply to let others know you will respond when your vehicle has stopped. Does anyone else use this app?

Thanks for the awareness Ginger I see alot of that everyday when I do my job driving and I see alot of accidents from it too its scary to think alot of folks value a text more than life

I see it all the time too. I think that, like me, most people are generally unaware of how dangerous it actually is. Please spread the word to your friends and loved ones.

Oh i do if i know someones driving and not using a headset i wont respond i have had too many closecalls because of folks on cellphones

Everyone that knows me knows if I don't respond fairly quickly that I'm driving. Just not gonna risk someone else for nonsense.

I really like the app with the auto response that lets people know I'm driving. Sometimes I feel rude when I don't answer right away. I've always felt compelled to shoot something back. I guess it's the Miss Manners in me.

But you're right, Sidinman. It's just not worth it.

Good app, but just discovered a caveat. Got on the train, forgot to turn this app off, could not turn it off until the train stopped again! Crap, no porn on this leg of the trip...

Ha!! A porn blocker. We can't have that.

Personally, I had to shitcan it myself. It disabled the Bluetooth going to my truck stereo and the music on my phone was an accessible as a result.

Even technology's that are suppose to help us, causes inconveniences. No porn, no music fuck it just be smart enough not to text and drive.
