Just Curious and new to this idea of discssing the hobby.
So my question is??????
In my showcase it is posted very clearly what my rates are and at what time level they start at...So....
Why do men write you and ask what your 15 minute rate is?
1st are they not embarrassed they are unable to sustain any conversation much less any activity for more that 15 minutes.
2nd I see that women offer 15 minutes but if I have not posted that what makes them think I am willing... Do many ladies secretly do 15 min. sessions.
3rd Why do I feel insulted when they ask.
My very first reply was a very succinct " What's your 15 min Rate?' Is that a jab of some kind?
4th Is there a type to being a 15 min gal? Those who do those length sessions I hold no judgent but I am curious if the men see a type to that offering?
Just curious...

I personally don't offer 15 minute rates. I don't even do half hours. It just doesn't add up for me.

I agree about it not adding up plus... How does that even happen. They must walk in the door junk exposed... No hello or small talk ( no pun intended)... nothing...LOL
But do you get asked for it if so how much. I am curious as to why I am being asked.
Before I knew about this board and other advertising venues I was on BP and I noticed many ladies there offer it compared to the other places I have recently found. Is there places those overings are more expected. Is this a place that is expected?

You will discover that there are many different types of people on here. Never assume they are all alike, all have the same morals, or are all looking for the same thing.
The first thing you need to do is understand yourself, what you want out of this, what is your preferred niche in the business, and where YOUR acceptable boundaries are. Never let your decisions be dictated by someone else.
There are many, many ladies who do not accept any date under an hour. There are certainly a number who do not accept anything under two hours. You are not required to have 15 min appointments, but if you do there is nothing inherently wring with it--but it WILL attract a different group of men.
In your post you essentially answer your own question: those men looking for a 15 min session are not interested in talking, not interested in anything personal. They want a quick physical encounter and nothing more. Odds are they couldn't describe you an hour after they left. Again, there is nothing wrong with that, it is just a very different clientele from a man who wants a leisurely 2 hour date with conversation, seduction, and maybe dinner. Generally the key to a lady's success is knowing what kind of men she is looking for, and adapt her persona, her advertising, and her board presence accordingly.
Probably the biggest use of boards like this is for you to show the community who you are, what kind of lady you are, and set your persona in their mind. No matter what picture you paint, some will like that image, some will not. You will be what some are looking for, and you will not match what others are looking for. Women who try to be all things to all men frequently do not do well. Women who portray an image that is out of synch with the kind of clients she wishes to attract do not do well and get frustrated.
I know I didn't give you any specifics really, but I hope these general comments might help.
Please feel free to PM me if you would like to talk more specifics.
I wish you well M'Lady, and don't let the men outside your target audience trouble you. They are not bad folks in general, but they often want all ladies to fall into their image of what they want out of a session.

This is really sound advice and a great post. I prefer one hour sessions but on a few occasions I really did only have 30 minutes available. Personally my wife never has blown me. She just will not. Last year for the first time in my life I was approached by a lady in Las Vegas in a Casino - she came up to my room and blew me. I lasted 5 minutes and she left. I paid 120$ including tip. It was all I wanted at the time. Then when I lived in Kansas City and met Kaylen. My first session with her was so amazing but lasted about 5 minutes. I paid her for 30 minutes even though she only asked for her quickie or blow and go rate.
Trust me - it really is VERY EASY to have a session 15 minutes in length or less. My limits are that I would never pay for 15 minutes- I would always pay for a minimum of 30. Then I am not a tight wad and tip waitresses in restaurants 20% or more.

A BnG is what you were doing. I thinck what the OP was referring was FS sessions of less than one hour. The problem I see with the 30 minute session is that too many fucktards book the half hour, pay the half hour rate, and stay over one hour. It puts the lady in an awkward situation. If she were boot the fucktard out at 40 minutes, her review would state she is a clock watcher.
The thing to remember is that it takes the lady the same time to prep for a half hour session as it does for hour or more sessions.

I personally when I started in the hobby never did anything under 1 hour. I didn't start doing BNG's till I moved to Houston. Most seem to offer and honestly with the traffic here and men and their workplace and families....sometimes they don't have but only a few minutes to spare without someone in their rw thinking something is happening. As for HHR visits, I only offer those to gentlemen that I have seen before. Not to a new client or friend.

Some of us refer to this as our hobby. I think a hobbyist would normally wish to spend at least an hour with his lady. There is also a market for someone to just get his rocks off. That market can be served in a much shorter time period. The same person could, at different times, participate in both markets depending on his current needs.
I feel a hobbyist is looking for an experience to remember. Something to feel good about. The giving and taking of sexual enjoyment. That needs time to happen.

I gained good insight from this. But I didn't quiet get the answer and I suppose it's because I didn't ask the right question. If I don't post a 15 min rate why would a guy write and ask. I realize now that might all he wants but if I don't advertise 15 why ask?
To all that took the time to enlighten me Thanks so much!

It is because ladies rarely post all their options. I had a wonderful date last week--four hours. This particular lady had a four hour rate listed, but most do not. I generally prefer longer dates, so I typically have to ask.
If you do not address 15 min appointments either way, then it is not unreasonable for a guy to ask--and certainly not unreasonable for you to say no.
But you might lessen the number who ask by explicitly saying "I don't arrange dates shorter than xxx". I have seen many ladies say something like that on their web sites. Sadly it won't eliminate dumb questions, but it should significantly reduce them. Those who still ask, well assume the are illiterate nd just feel sorry for them.

Well said. Domonique, it looks like you already took Old-T's advice and updated your showcase. You are lovely and I couldn't imagine spending less than an hour with you

If you don't ask, you don't know. Kind of like asking for a lower price when buying a car, if I don't ask for it, I won't know if they would have given it.
I see in your Bio that you mention it now (or maybe always did) but I would suggest in your Donations area put, 1HR Min, $ 1st HR, $ 2HRs, etc. That "might" cut down on a few of those questions. I know this isn't everybody, but I could see a few that might get excited from just your pictures and since they are only looking for a B&G, they don't read your Bio, but might look at your donation requests. I'm sure there is at least one guy out there that is so intrigued with your pictures that they don't even look at anything but how to contact you, quick.
I'm still new and haven't seen very many providers but because of a couple (not in my reviews) there are many that I would ask for a 15 minute date for the first one to see if I would really want to meet them for an hour. With me, that would normally be the only time I would ever do a 15 with her if I wanted to see her again. Also for me, the main reason is to find out if, with an hour date, she will kick me out after the first time my bottle explodes or, even if she doesn't offer MSOG, will she allow me to stay the whole time and is her personality good enough to want me to stay with her for the rest of the date. It really sucks if you pay for an hour, finish in the first 15, she hops out of bed, gets dressed, and says, "Thanks, I hope you come back again." I don't call them B&G's, I call them M&G (Meet and Greet) and sex isn't my "main" reason for my M&G.
I agree, some guys are just looking to get their rocks off during lunch hour, but a 15 or 30 does allow a guy to see if you would be worth the donation for an hour+ date.
Just my thoughts, I can't speak for others.
