LMAO, this jerk is soooo funny. They just explained to the Iranian government the reality of how our system works. Funny the Iranians call it some sort of treason...

Then again, in the early 1980s Red Ron Dellums of California made a personal trip to Grenada to tell the soviet dictator that he would personally intervene to prevent Reagan from doing anything.

Later, newly minted Senator John Kerry made another trip to El Salvador to talk to the Soviet leader to ensure that the democratic senate would prevent Reagan from providing $14 million in aid to the Sandanistas.

I guess we have to hang John Kerry and all the others from the 1980s who are still alive.

Equivocation and dichotomy, your specialties. What's embarrassing is that isn't even how our system works. Was that before or after Reagan vetoed the anti-apartheid bill? Which went on to be the first foreign policy veto of the twentieth century. Reagan on the wrong side of history, yet again. Thanks for bringing that up. The GOP has been engaging in (borderline) treason since 2008. The fact that we have a (half) black president plays on their insecurities so much that they'll chastise anything he does or says, without cause.

Still waiting for the day when one of them steps out calls Obama a Ni**er.

Unless it is a Treaty negotiated by The Executive Branch, with advice and consent from the Senate, (this is a Constitutional Process), it is just as the Republican Senators say, a agreement between two leaders that can be undone by the next leader.

Perhaps that is what President Obama wants. He makes a total ass of himself on the World Stage by, of all things, trusting the Iranians, knowing that a future President can end the stupidity. In the mean time, he gets some "validity" in winning that sham of a Nobel Peace Prize.

Of course, it will be too late then. Iran will have already built themselves a neat little 20 Kiloton Fission Bomb, with enough U235 left over to build some more.

But this sort of thing is what happens when you combine naïveté and stupidity at the highest levels of Government.

I don't defend IB either. This entire forum is filled with children that couldn't carry on an adult conversation if their life depended on it. I like reading the various opinions in this forum and some good points are made by both sides. I am a conservative so naturally I agree with the right much more than the left but the problem is damn near every thread becomes a stupid little game of "I know I am but what are you" carried on by juveniles. The original debate is over.
