Man... that's a tough one. "Won't Get Fooled Again" has one of my favorite intros in all of music (great build up), but I can listen to "My Generation" over n' over again and never get tired of lip syncing along. Peps me up.

So many Who favorites here are some of mine

the sea and sand
Had Enough
Naked eye
a quick one
love aint for keepin
5:15
Substitute
Doctor Jimmy
a legal matter
i'm a boy

I have many more but I'll stop there.

I think that their Quadraphenia album is their best one and I think the best version of Won't Get Fooled Again is the one on the Kids Are Alright soundtrack.

I love the bloody oo

P.S.
Keith Moon was the best rock drummer ever! RIP Moon the Loon
John Entwistle was the best rock bassist ever! RIP Thunderfingers
Pete is a genuine musical genius and one of the best guitarists ever
Roger from Oz is one of the greatest singers ever

Long Live Rock!

Interesting G-man. I hadn't heard about that but did a little research and came up with this: http://celebrifi.com/gossip/Poor-Scr...ie-861664.html

Tatonka - great list! I somehow overlooked Quadraphenia.

Won't Get Fooled Again

Great song, everything is good

Squeezebox

I covered this in a student band, simple but effective.

I'm afraid a lot of their songs leave me thinking - great live bad, performers, but their actual music is banal.
