When your phone gets wet, immediately take out the battery, and put both parts in a bowl of dry rice. Cover them and let stand for 2-3 hours. Many times this will dry it out completely and it will work good as new.

Crystal, I'd probably get wet if I was allowed to hang out in your pocket all day. I'm sorry your phone got wonky. But Space is right about the rice - it saved my dampened iPhone after ACL 2009. Good stuff.

Who was the carrier? On some phones you can take the SIM card out and put it in another phone.
