Default Hillary says she was wrong on Iraq vote

http://www.politicususa.com/2014/06/...-iraq-war.html

Of course, she never addresses the issue of what Iraq would be like today under the rule of Saddams two fine Sons.

Of course, nobody else does either.

She is a political creature. Her Party has moved more and more to the left, so she must now sell what little trace of dignity she has in order to appease the radical arm of Her Party.

By the way, while she is admitting to past mistakes, how about the mistake of standing by her serial molester and rapist of a husband, being his principle enabler.

Everybody with a conscience and an IQ above 70 knows that she is exactly right......it was a mistake.

And, you know what? I don't give a fuck what Iraq would be like today under the rule of Saddam's sons. Neither would you if you still weren't trying to justify and rationalize one of the stupidest things the US has done in the last 50 years or so......

And probably 90% of the folks divorced say the same about being married to "that one"!

So what?

And if we hadn't and Saddam grounded a freighter in the Houston ship channel loaded with a "dirty" bomb going off ... it would have been a mistake as well.

So what?

The ending of WWII in Europe was a "mistake" ... as we can see today.
The ending of the Korean "Police Action" was a "mistake" .. as we can see today.
The beginning of S.E. Asia was a "mistake" ... as was seen shortly "thereafter"!

So what?

Do we learn anything? If you say "no" that is the biggest mistake.

Some of us even said it was a mistake prior to the ill fated and ill advised, spring of 2003 invasion of Iraq.

Too bad LexiLiar (LLIdiot) can not be included on the list!

The strategy is that I'v admitted that what I did was wrong ( not that we all agree )but since I've apologized then it is no longer a problem....except....what does this say about your judgement that you made those mistakes in the first place and compounded them, attacked people for criticizing you over them (when it turns out that they were right and you were wrong), and only now have some kind of conversion. Your credibility is damaged beyond repair but this is a hallmark of the democratic party. Make some really huge mistakes and you get promoted. Warren Christopher was the assist. Secretary of State who told Jimmy Carter that the students would never invade our embassy in Iran, he also told Carter that the Soviets would not invade Afghanistan...he was wrong on both counts. Clinton rewarded him with Secretary of State where he continued to screw up in Bosnia and the Middle East; Bin Laden? Nope, he's not important.

Hillary wants a promotion based on her screw ups.

Tampon can't vote for her because she screwed up voting for war with Iraq even though people like Tampon want you to believe that Bush did it alone. According to Tampon, he was right and Hillary was wrong. He can't support her now because she is partially responsible for the deaths of over 4,000 servicemen under Bush not to mention that she is partially responsible for the deaths in Afghanistan under Obama.

If she really wants to make amends, if she is sincere, is to seek out the families of those that were killed and apologize to them personally starting with the families of the four victims at Benghazi.

JDIdiot, perhaps Hillary should start that process as soon as Shrubya, Cheney, Wolfie and Rummy seek out the families of those that were killed and apologize to them personally starting with the families of the 4500+ victims in Iraq.

Once the Shrub has finally ACCOMPLISHED that MISSION Hillary can attempt to try to locate her 4 victims.

Let us know when The Shrub plans to hang out the MISSION ACCOMPLISHED banner again!

Ya hear?

Would that be like Obama's MISSION ACCOMPLISHED news conference in the Rose Garden with Bergdahl's Dad, where the data recited a prayer to ALLAH in Pashto with Obama grinning ear to ear during it?

Like most Dems, Hillary never votes without wetting her index finger and holding it up in the air to see which way the political winds are blowing. Her votes have nothing to do with conviction or any careful assessment of our national interest.

Many Dems were burned when they voted against the 1991 Congressional Resolution authorizing the first Persian Gulf War. That war turned out to be quick and successful in liberating Kuwait with limited US casualties. This made the Dems who voted against it look stupid and unpatriotic. They voted for us to fail.

Now flash forward 12 years to the run-up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Dems were fearful of making the same mistake again. At the time, Bush was riding a wave of post-9/11 public support. So voting in favor of the Iraq War Resolution looked like the politically shrewd thing to do.

Bottom line - Don't expect Hillary or the Dems to buck the latest opinion polls or show any political courage or leadership. Convictions and/or considerations of what is in the national interest are absent from their foreign policy calculations. It's pure political opportunism. That's why John Kerry famously blurted out in one of the 2004 Presidential debates "I voted for it before I voted against it." When it comes to Iraq, the Dems bet "wrong" twice. They need to get a better crystal ball.

The really funny thing about this post is that you, BigAssTex, have no idea how stupid your post truly is. In fact, you will come on and make some snide comment about me, just for pointing it out.
