I am sharing this here for more companions to see. My only aim is to keep folks out of jail. I am not promoting anything within any financial gain other than being safe from the increasingly frequent stings and LE funding under the excuse of "sex trafficking." The Private List (since 1996) is FREE for companions, and about 350 companions got the 17 page update last night Due to legal issues the List no longer has ads or reviews, so it is of no interest to most customers unless they want to follow the legal issues in depth.
If you want to ignore the risks and be dumb, that is your choice. Unlike companions, the transsexual and street worker supporters of Monica Jones - many from ASU - received widespread support from social media, International media, CNBC, National Public Radio (KJZZ in Phoenix), ACLU, and their demonstration with about 100 folks with HUGE banner on Washington Ave in front of Courthouse and news conferences.
Judge was very fair and detailed but found guilty due to element/s Monica honestly admitted to on the stand. Protester's outrage about "walking while trans" while may be an issue in other cases clearly had nothing to do with Monica's arrest - clear testimony officer never met her, or knew about her; she approached officer in sexy short outfit with breasts exposed down to her nipples, committed act/s of manifestation (admitted to crotch grab) in violation of the Phoenix ordinance.
Hotel LE Notification
While the Arizona Governors Task Force (Brewer and McCain led) issued notices to hotels more privately to alert them to sexwork activities, the Minneapolis police and City Attorney did a press release with the same points.
These directives included
Watch for guests with no luggage, rooms paid for in cash, young people with older men and guests with short duration visits (20-60 minutes). Security cameras monitored for these activities
Taxis ' watch for customers who do not pay their own fares, young people with older men.
Ends with the reminder “Sex trafficking is the second most profitable illicit business globally.”
Hotel stings are common in Phoenix with 40+ known in just two days from two hotels in Scottsdale in March 2014. Piles of TER reviews were shown to companions if they asked why targeted. All cities are sharing tactics it seems.
In the Project Rose roundups as pointed out in Monica Jones manifestation case, large number of police units fan are used to deliver their quotas to the Project Rose Command Center (Bethany Bible Church). This includes street hookers but most seem to be private companions after research from ads or reviews to find home addresses or may set up stings from active ads. If you pay for any ad by credit or debit card, those records with real name and address are easy for LE to obtain.
Manifestation Law Information
Asking someone if they are a cop is silly since they say no and the asking is a violation of the Phoenix manifestation law. Likewise, as an undercover cop who has arrested hundreds of prostitutes/companions over the last 10-years testified, the typical “cop check” is used for manifestation charges with the same 15 days minimum jail, up to $2500 fine and jail costs. If there is an agreement for money, then it is prostitution.
In the Monica Jones manifestation case, it was her second offense so 30 days mandatory and $2540.70 of jail costs but the judge reduced that to $350 and the $2500 fine to $150 due to her low income student status. He also deferred confinement date until the end of May after she had finished current courses at ASU.
The key to keeping as safe as possible is to never use GFE or worse in ads and ALWAYS STATE AN HOURLY RATE for companionship. No discussion of rates should ever be done by phone, e-mail or text as this is almost always how they get companions even with “clean” ads on solicitation charges.
The key to avoiding legal issues and you should NEVER discuss MONEY for any SEX act. Sugar Daddy relationships where you pay for companionship not sex seem totally legal - since no money is paid for sex!
Reviews should never talk about sex acts - while hard to use in Court they are being compiled and regularly used by LE, and almost no cases go to trial other than Monica's and the Phoenix Temple now heading into the third year in Superior Court. The city Courts move fast and only misdemeanors vs. the many felony prostitution cases now in slow motion, in Superior Court.
