"Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, the Republican nominee for governor, has publicly dared Ms. Davis to be seen with Mr. Obama, who is relatively unpopular in Texas. She did attend Mr. Obama’s speech Thursday at the civil rights summit, although she stayed away from two Democratic fundraisers that Mr. Obama held in Houston Wednesday night."

Reminds me of all the Republicans lining up to have their pictures taken with Shrub in '07 & '08. Also reminds me of the story in the Dallas Morning News the other day about how Republicans are already worrying about the fact that if the GOP Convention is held in Dallas in 2016 (the city is in the running), there is no way republicans can avoid inviting Shrub since he lives here....he is the gift that keeps on giving.

Greg Abbott is suffering from physical and mental fatigue. He's been missing his own press conferences lately and blowing off campaign appearances. Theres discussion around Austin that he'll have to drop the nomination and the GOP will appoint t Dewhurst as nominee after Dan Patrick kicks his ass in the runoff.

Whirlyturd, you couldn't be any more out of touch with reality.

But keep trying.

If you look at the last two years of the Bush admin, the Democrats controlled Congress. Seems like things turned to shit abut the same time.

Apparently you can't read a history book. Gas-$1.84 a gallon, a war in Iraq that we had won, less than a thousand deaths in Afghanistan, only $14 trillion in debt, a lot less people on food stamps, a lot less people below the poverty line, Blockbuster was still in business, Radio Shack was still going strong, and the REAL unemployment rate was 10% and not 17%. I have news for you, the economy was worse when Carter was the president (unemployment higher, inflation higher, prime higher, you know the misery index)

Wait for it...
