Consider the sources on that sorta talk. Those comments are usually made by scorn tricks who are just chomping at the bit to hear of OH2's final demise. They get wood everytime someone says they can't login, or getting a timeout or file not found, etc.

OH2 has been acting like a little biznatch to me today overall but going to go ahead and note that I've noticed two obvious changes on the site. One being just a new link to view who's online and then another being in the form of what you might call a status update or something, hard to explain. And then if I've noticed two clear changes just in a short time, gotta figure there's been some other things tweeked/upgraded as well, I personally just haven't noticed them yet. So (as of now) the site is not dead and there is indeed someone pulling some strings on there, so it hasn't been abandoned and "left for dead" either.

I don’t see how, at least not directly. He charges neither the ladies or gentlemen to join or retain verified status. Eccie, on the other hand, does have paid membership tiers for the guys.

It's dead in that its unreliable and inconsistently available.

Also, don't know if anyone noticed, but the passwords are transmitted in clear text, so your vpn isn't exactly secure...

I noticed it when the login screen broke and the password field was unmasked. I mean there could be some security going on that I didn't noticed, but what I did sure did look like clear text.

OH2 is back alive, but still not a smooth experience....

It appears the site is in a state of semi-accessibility. You can reach it securely on occasion, but most of the time the security warning appears.

I signed in ok today, but when I tried to go to a forum, it went straight to the security message.

I tried today. The site wasn't fully loading all the images and the User ID and Password fields were all in clear open text. Then the security message kept kicking me out. Oh well..... RIP

recently, i've been able to login to OH2 using Brave on a Windows 10 system (plain mode, not Private windows). click thru the "site cant prove who it is cos its certificate expired x days ago" warning, and occasionally click thru those "your connection isnt private" warnings.

if you get a bare-bones {not bare back :^} page (just text w/ blue hyperlinks, no images, formatting, etc). refreshing the page sometimes clears that problem up.

If you click through those warnings, you could be connecting to a different server set up to look like OH2. Could be scammers. Could be LE. Could be trolls looking to harm OH2 and its users.

oddly enough today, I'm getting no errors or security warnings. and the site seems fast.
doesn't mean I trust it though, just reporting my experience
