Go to the Afgan thread.

This one is just shit talking, name calling.
You deflected. It was a simple question. Given a choice between Odumbo and Gingrich (or Santorum or Romney), which one will a 'conservative' vote for.

I'd still vote for Gary Johnson.

Something like that - a protest vote - is still an option, but not necessarily Johnson. The Republican candidate will carry the state with or without my vote - so it wouldn't be a vote for Odumbo.

It's not necessarily a protest vote. I really want him to be President. And I'd also like to see the Libertarian Party become a major party. Add to that the fact that the Democrat and Republican candidates will be very nearly indistinguishable, and the choice is easy.

You might fool yourself into thinking you are conserative but do you see how few votes Ron Paul is getting? People that vote for Gingrich or Santorum think they are Conservatives.
Well the military is one of the few things the federal government does better than the states would if they had militias. So supporting it and wanting it strong makes sense to a conservative that doesnt excuse the waste and corruption but its why it gets the backing it does. The Religious Right is going to wake up one day and realize we cant give them what they want or what we have been promising and they will abandon us. But then liberals havent lost minorities yet so maybe Im wrong.

Ron Paul lacks support for 2 reasons. First is his foreign policy, it just scares the shit out of people. Second hes really old, you have a legit concern that his running mate would be prez because he just died of old age.

Not only does his foreign policy suck, Paul is also wrong about returning to the gold standard and eliminating the Fed: something like 'the Fed' must exist.

Default Government is a 'Tragedy of the Commons'

A true Hobson Choice you have there my friend.

But my point is more this: conservatives are sucking a big dick and screaming that they are not gay. They very well may not be gay but they sure are sucking a big dick and have been for a long time.

True Conservatives do not really have a choice. I personally like the former Gov of La. in this election cycle. Rommer, I believe his name is.

I have always maintained that the only choice is how your tax dollars are spent , not how much. That is why I have voted towards the left. It is not because I believe these programs will work. They have proven not to but the right has it's own welfare system too. So I usually side with the poor bastards. Our form of government calles for each congressman/woman to grab as much from the government tit as possible. How in the world is that suppossed to reduce government spending with a system such as that?

Ron Paul's foreign policy makes the most sense of anyone running. And all a return to a gold standard would do would be to give our money actual value. That is not a bad thing. The Fed is the most destructive agency in the US, it needs to be audited and disbanded.

Ron Paul is OK with Iran having nukes and you think his foreign policy makes the most sense?

I don't think we should invade Iran and start nation building but a few strategically placed bunker busters is definitely in order.

Yes. By all means, let's beat every country we don't like into submission. That makes sense. If you listened to the entirety of Paul's answer on the Iranian nuclear threat, instead of what the MSM wants you to hear, you would understand.

This is for WTF...wtf! You said you side with the left which you say puts on the side of the poor but how do you explain the bundlers who have carted away hundreds of millions of dollars by sucking Obama's dick. They are certainly not poor and they are not disenfranchised.
