Trump was indeed many steps up from the competition in 2016. The dims need to field a candidate that matches the standards they are setting for Trump. Until they do, the dims are just hyperventilating hypocrites.

Trump can't meet the standards set by his own party. He would have made a typical democrat candidate.

Trump beat the shit out of the typical dim-retard candidate in the Electoral College last go around! Until the dims field a candidate that matches the standards they are setting for Trump, they're just hyperventilating hypocrites ... and they'll keep losing.

hildebeest was the dim-retard's choice. In case you missed it, hildebeest's candidacy as the dim-retard choice was in all of the major papers, js. She cheated to beat a socialist and colluded with foreign agents -- including Russians --, btw, just in case you missed those tidbits, too.

Trump won the state of Michigan by 3/10s of 1 percent of the vote. Trump won Pennsylvania by 1.2%, Trump won Wisconsin by 1%. So his margin of victory was razor thin and could hardly be put in the category of beating the shit out of Clinton.
The best thing Trump had going for him in 2016 was his opponent. Doubtful he will have that large of an advantage in 2020.
So since you think the Dems will continue losing, how do you think they will do on November 6th?

Some people just gotta have pictures to facilitate comprehension. Trump beat the shit out of hildebeest in the Electoral College, and the dims won't take the Senate in November.

So what. I'm sure that the picture for the vote in 2012 was very similar with maybe 4 states being blue in 2012 that were red in 2016. And if you broke it down further into voting districts, I wouldn't be surprised if the voting maps for 2012 and 2016 were almost identical.
But I like how you conveniently ignored everything in my post. If the Democratic candidate in 2020 can get a handful of voters in 3 states to either change their votes from Red to Blue or simply vote instead of sitting on their butts, Trump will lose.

what happened when Jill Stein challenged Michigan's results? and Clinton joined her, once again going against Slick Willie Blythe's advice? they found that more votes had been cast in some Michigan counties than there were registered voters!

Michigan recount reveals error, but not the one Jill Stein wanted
WASHINGTON — Green Party nominee Jill Stein’s presidential vote recount in Michigan may have turned up massive voter irregularities — in the Democratic stronghold of Detroit.
Now it’s Republican leaders who are demanding an investigation to determine why a third of the city’s voting machines registered more ballots than actual voters, the Detroit News reported.
Ruth Johnson, the Republican secretary of state, is launching an audit.
Republican state Sen. Patrick Colbeck called the probe a good start on the suspicious results turned up in Detroit, which Hillary Clinton won with 95 percent of the vote.
The Detroit News found voting scanning machines at 248 of the city’s 662 precincts — 37 percent — tabulated more ballots than the number of actual voters counted in the poll books.
“There’s always going to be small problems to some degree, but we didn’t expect the degree of problem we saw in Detroit. This isn’t normal,” Krista Haroutunian, chairwoman of the Wayne County Board of Canvassers, told the paper.
The partial statewide recount that ended Friday by court order did not change Donald Trump’s victory in Michigan, which he won by more than 10,000 votes. The fresh tally of 2.1 million ballots turned up a net difference of 102 more votes for Clinton.
The new audit is aimed at finding out whether human error, fraud or negligence is to blame for the mismatched irregularities in Detroit. The investigation could take about three weeks.
they couldn't DROP this inquiry fast enough!! were they afraid of the TRUTH?
We all know .. voter fraud doesn't exist. PERIOD!

It looks even worse for hildebeest by precinct. Trump beat the shit out of hildebeest in the Electoral College, and the dims won't take the Senate in November. ^^^ Who even thinks like this? 2020 will be a whole new ballgame. It's not like the dims only need to focus on 3 states they stupidly neglected in 2016 - and can expect everything else to stay the same. Your wistful comments show how hung up you still are about losing the 2016 race.

Trump won 3 states by a very small margin which gave him the electoral victory. Again, that is hardly beating the shit out of someone. If you feel otherwise, so be it.
I agree that the Democrats won't take the Senate in 2018. 35 seats up for election and 26 of them are Democratic, with some in states that Trump won. I expect Republicans to pick up 1 or 2 seats in the Senate.
However I do predict the Democrats will win back control of the House which will go against YOUR prediction that "they'll keep losing".

Not at all. There are swing states and then there are swing states that were ridiculously close in 2016. Do Democrats need to worry about states like California and New York in 2020. Hell no. There were states that neither Trump nor Clinton visited in 2016 because they assumed they were either won or lost. Trump's team was much smarter and saw openings in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania and capitalized on what they saw as weaknesses. Very smart move.
In 2020 I see maybe 6 or 7 states that have the potential to flip. The other 43-44 will stay the same as they were in 2016. "Whole new ballgame"? No way. Same old, same old with a few possible changes.
