Been doin' a little thinking. Arriving at work to find an email saying you're laid off has given me pause to reevaluate some things.

After more than a little deliberation, I'm prepared to suck it up and read a chorus of I-told-you-sos. It has, indeed, largely been a one-way street. I’ve recommended her to prospective clients, provided nonfinancial assistance that enabled her to make two major changes in her life, cleaned her carpet, gave her a pretty good (I thought) Christmas. In that time, I’m batting .333 in my requests for appointments, and at the last one, set days in advance, she pulled the “Did you bring a condom?” trick.

I'm pretty sure I've been played. It's my fault; I'll admit it. I don't regret doing anything; I actually enjoy doing nice things, and opportunities to do nice things in the hopes that they will be genuinely appreciated don't come along too often for me. What I do regret is being good enough to buy an occasional lunch and do nice things, but not being good enough to be able to have access to the “goods and services” many others do. I can live with being a fool. It's harder to live with the knowledge that not even money will compensate for the deficiencies that made escorts my only alternative.

The thing about the hobby is if you pass her screening, have the proper donation and are respectful in person and over communications with her, you should be able to get the goods and services from providers without question or hesitation. The buying of a meal, doing personal favors for and buying gifts, while all well and good, should be done at least some time after an initial session, be totally your option and definitely not be done in lieu of hoping to recieve a BCD session from a provider, this is not a dating site!

Buddy, if your this considerate and giving, escorts are NOT your only alterative. There are plenty of women out there dreaming of meeting such a nice man. It is hard to find them but they are out there.

As to doing nice things, anyone who helps someone with the right motives has nothing to be sorry for. The one to pity is the one who takes advantage of others. It is unfortunate that the nature of this industry means you will meet far more people who are willing to deceive and manipulate others. And that goes both ways. There are some really fine ladies her and I have had the pleasure of meeting some of them. But they are the exception, not the norm
