Oh, I'll give it my best shot....go ahead and answer the question. The president gets warnings every day. So....the president is not accountable when he does nothing in light of a warning. That was your statement. Does it apply to President Obama? Or just republican presidents?

Depends on the warning. If ten generals get in his face and tell him to bomb Iraq or they will get us, and they tell him day after day until he sees the light and verifies it with trustworthy 3rd parties, he should heed it.
If the CIA gives him a CYA finding, he can give it the weight it deserves.
Warn about anything and everything in broad language and ultimately you can say you warned about everything that happens - told you so!
