Not what I said or implied despite what LexusLover says. I did say that it would be hard to play the race card if the officer were black. I also have said that the disparity in the racial make up of the town and police department is a huge factor in this situation. IMHO of course.

doubt it
it's a book about race relations
not about sex/money/drugs

sounds really boring to me.

Once you post the exact quote of my post and the link to it, I will respond.

You can play your little word games with your bimbo playmates.

Doesn't work with me, child.

Your lack of credibility and ability in the area of criminal law, police procedures, and the trial of criminal cases, is much more relevant to this thread that the spread of Ebola. Now isn't it?

There is often a "disparity" in the LE agencies and the population mix.

You (it appears) want quality officers with intellectual and physical superiority to deal with split second decision making after quickly reviewing all available law associated with the factual situation with which the officer is confronted and an assessment that is free from 2nd guessing and 20-20 hindsight ....

.. but then you want the agency to consist of a similar mix of minorities as the community the agency it serves.

Now before we "move on" ...

..... does that fairly and accurate describe your expectations?

If not, please clarify exactly what you expect in the recruiting process.

It's fucking common sense. Which people "being obnoxious" lack.

.

Care to tell us how someone with personal knowledge of public schools during flu season. and Ebola have spread alike?

I hope this doesnt make it,
I still don't understand what the protesters want? They want "justice"? Justice was served, a guy attacked a cop and got shot
happens a lot, are the facts wrong?
so what do the people want? to loot and steal...oh, well yeah, that make sense

I think "they" want "us" to understand their culture and have a separate set of rules for "their" activities.

In "their" eyes, the way to solve the problem of young black men getting arrested is simply tell the cops to stay out of those neighborhoods.

Problem solved.

The police will be happy to comply. Supposedly (I was told while serving on a jury) that there are areas in Houston that EMS will not enter without police escort and there are areas that police will not enter "voluntarily."

Blind...unless you think it works against you.

Well, tell us then, "what they think"!!!

Or just explain what YOU want the police to do when confronted with someone who just committed a robbery and is trying to take the police officer's weapon while beating the cop in the face? (Think in terms of you just got robbed by the guy attacking the cop.)
