So what do you think? Oh by the way it is too bad isn't it. Cause look where it leaves us.

Benefits?

  • Let me start with an agenda that improves women's rights across the board (e.g. Lilly Ledbetter fair pay act on steroids, right to choose arguments, military brass assignments, etc) and extends to other minority groups across the country.
  • Healthcare for Americans started by Obama and improved upon by women who are looked at as the caretakers / givers of the family unit.
  • Women can achieve and make America better slogans will help weed out the good old boy / country club mindset and usher us into an new era of inclusion. The county will take a decisive swing toward showing the world we're Progressive and welcome more business and opportunity to America.
  • A stronger and streamlined military started by Obama and improved upon by Hillary and her War counsel. Terrorists and militants willing to test but wary of a woman's scorn. ;-)
  • A Hilary and Michelle Obama ticket would be pretty potent especially considering how educated they are and how talented and gifted Michelle is academically and at public speaking. Two ivy league grad female attorney's in office would be highly inspirational and bridge a lot of social gaps.
Part of my point is we'd be far better off without far right religious wig-nuts running for office talking about their god and trying to shove it down everyone's throat.
You stated the benefits are numerous, but then list five flimsy ass statements, that won't benefit the country as a whole. I mean are we actually suppose to take your goofy ass serious. This is nothing but liberal fantasy. Enjoy your dream, but when you wake up you still have to face reality.

Doing your research eh? As long as the master is good to me. ;-) Good food, housing, and education with money in the bank and the ability to have conjugal visits.

Who can complain with such a Worshipful Master.

Z-Bar actually makes some good points. The ridiculous wealth disparity in the US is due to the crony capitalist (fascist) system that has slowly grown up over the 120 years. Where I disagree is the idea that Obama and Hillary are part of the solution. They aren't. They are much beholden to the corporatist influence that is causing the problem. As were Bush, Bush and Reagan. The two-party system will NEVER elect anyone who will oppose the corporatist/fascist system.

What are you talking about, zanziboy? I don't presume to know what is in Obama's self-interest better than he does. I am not arrogant enough to do that. But you have no problem doing that to people who vote against Obama.

All you have to do as a 1%er is support Manchurian candidates and when they reach elected office get the payback on your investment. It's a rather simple concept. There is no amount of good quality labor that will move anyone from the lower 20% to the top 10%.

Zanziboy, what a letdown! The libtards were rooting for you to come in and add some intellectual heft to their flagging comments on this hooker board, and all you can come up with is “Corporate Fascism”? What the fuck is that? Oh, I get it. That's the only thing keeping you and 90% of Americans from being wealthy, right? Sorry zanziboy, but we're talking about the real world now, so leave the dorm room behind. You need to go out and read a dozen books on Corporate Governance, then come back and see if you can talk intelligently on the subject. Learn about the real world of boards of directors, bye-laws, shareholder resolutions and votes. While corporate governance at most US publicly owned companies is far from perfect, it is a lot closer to democracy than to fascism.

Another letdown, zanziboy... So sad to see you don't even know how to google the answer. Here's a hint for you – try looking up the Tax Reform Act of 1986.

For example if we taxed all exec pay in excess 50 or 75x the lesser of avg or median worker pay at 50- 75%, then execs will have 1 of 2 options. Either accept lower pay or increase worker pay to maximize their own profits. It's not the ultimate solution and the rich will still get richer but it allows others to get a better leg up and is a start in the right direction of wealth redistribution. I am sorry if "Joe the Plumber" fan doesn't get it
You're losing us, zanziboy... What is “rouge executive pay”? Executive pay in Baton Rouge? Executive pay in red states? You mention it as an “example of my Corporate fascist argument”. What Corporate fascist argument? You haven't even defined Corporate Fascism, let alone set forth an argument...

If you think executive pay is excessive, here's what you should do about it: 1) Remember you are fortunate enough to live in a free country. 2) Go out and buy one share of stock in each company you think is over-paying its officers. 3) Become a shareholder activist. Look up the biggest owners of company stock and lobby them to vote in favor of executive pay limits at the annual shareholder meetings. This is where your study of Corporate Governance will pay off. It is not in the best interests of shareholders to overpay their executives. You will be more effective by taking this route than if you sit back and stupidly rail against some imaginary Corporate Fascism.
