Whether the underlying grievance had "merit" is irrelevant. What's relevant is whether they crossed the line from protest to violence, and - insofar as they did - were they condemned with equal vehemence by left and right? Or was one a source of outrage but the other was white-washed?

Maybe munchy can draw up a Venn diagram showing us what subset of the trump rally protestors were violent.
