They can’t fill spots now it’s only going to get much worse . In the mid ‘80s ,7,000 signed up to take the test , the last one ,PRIOR to what’s happening now 400 did . Add in the numbers who will take their pension earlier then planned ,or transfer to the suburbs and it’ll be a real challenge to fill the spots ,and anyone with a pulse who passes will get hired .
