The election in 2000 was another nail biter...Bore couldn't pick up the torch...Hummm(this lost was documented)

In 1992 Bush did ONLY because of President Reagan overwhelming success...he was no Reagan!!

You never addressed my comment:
"pick ANY of the others because that extreme leftwing ideology is something the voters know WE CAN'T AFFORD!!"

You conveniently avoid the fact that the candidates vying for the nomination want to give away things Americans can't pay for or afford...SPEED most Americans don't like or want BIG Gumment!!

Less Than Half in U.S. Would Vote for a Socialist for President
The expected deficit for 2019 is $900 billion. The projected deficit for 2020 is $1 trillion. So when you complain about giving away things that Americans can't afford, let's start with that. Deficit was $585 billion is Obama's last year.

I do not currently support many of the policies of the Democratic contenders for POTUS. I too want to see how they will be paid for. However, Trump, in good economic times, has increased the deficit incredibly.

Republicans always run away from this fact. I guess it's part of the strategy to never utter a negative word about Trump, in case somebody seizes upon it, and decides to vote for a Democrat.

The huge deficits are not due primarily to spending.

Trump promised a huge tax break to individuals and corporations during his campaign. After he was elected he pushed hard for it and got it passed, although it wasn't as much as he originally wanted. The deficit is due primarily to the impact of the tax package.

Now you are just being ridiculous. An area in which you excel.

Spending? We could use a 400 ship Navy, but Dims run the House and they want to spend money to buy votes and acquire more control over citizens (but not illegals)....

Trump loyalists are neither Democrats nor Republicans.

They’re more like cultists.
