When your elected representatives and senators fail to represent the will of their constituents and the state they should be removed from office and replaced with ones that will. It is not hard to understand.

The idea that a newly elected representative must fit into the "way things are done" in DC does not apply when the "way things are done" have created the mess we are in now. I look forward to voting in more representatives that will stop the business as usual and reform the corruption of our government.

On a may serious note, it is very strange that the people who believe in fluid politics so often are now pretending that what happened four years ago was a rock of granite. If you were to be faithful to your new standards then slavery would still be around, separate but equal would still be the law of the land, women would not have the right to vote, Vietnam would still be a good war because at one time they were all popular, got voted on, and approved by either the public or the SCOTUS. Obamacare is old news, it's lost it's luster, the majority of the people are against it...and it hasn't even started yet.

Actually, if the "People's House" votes 41 or 42 times in favor of something, perhaps the Senate and the Executive Branch should consider what the House was saying. Remember, the people did not elect the House to enact Obamacare. That is why the liberals fared so poorly in the 2010 election. The people did not want this bill. So, of course, ignoring the consent of the governed, the Rulers pushed this horrendous power grab through a lame duck Congress by threats, intimidation, backroom ploys and sweetheart deals.
