Who the hell said if you can't talk good you can't fuck good... or at least remember your ATM PIN in a pinch?
And by pinch I mean too much blood to the small head while sitting in the drive thru.

Don't forget "a lot" vs "alot".

Correct usage: There are a lot of nervous Mexicans in Arizona.

Or when it sounds like "A" as in neighbor and weigh.

Another one is "saw" versus "seen".

Incorrect: I seen the car pull up outside.
Correct: I saw the car pull up outside.

You don't have to look very hard to find the rampant misuse of discrete.

If a provider wishes to advertise that she offers an incall location you can visit without arousing the suspicion of neighbors or other observers, she should describe it as discreet (not discrete).

Here are a couple of examples of the proper use of discrete:

One might speak of discrete points on a line or curve.

You might recall that one of your math teachers told you all about discrete random variables.

On the other hand:

Tiger Woods certainly must wish that he'd been more discreet! (not discrete.)

Here's another error I've noticed a couple of times:

Occasionally a poster will strongly agree with a statement and ring in with a cheery "Here, Here!" ("Hear, hear!" is correct.)
