Issue is manufacturer 'Planned Obsolescence"

car dealers make little money on new cars - their major income stream is teh Service/Repair, and used cars.



thought - don't buy Apple products.

Just have been following right to repair for a couple of years. This guy that repairs apple mac books and other products in New York. He has hours of youtube content on it. Even has testified before legislators a few times. His name is Louis Rossman.

Worst part about apple is if you are an "authorized repair shop" you have to operate just like their "repair" shops, can't really call them a repair shop though. Macs are decent laptops, problem is they last so long if you do need service they are long out of any warranty.
