I think there's a huge difference between talking about session jitters and talking about all the problems you have going on in your life.

Talk about how you're always nervous the first time you meet? Fine.

Talk about how scared you were when you saw the cop drive by? Fine.

Talk about your need for income/child support/medical issues/legal issues/etc? TOTAL BONER KILLER. Ladies, please don't do this.

I collect stories, so whatever convo is good with me. Unless it lasts an hour and I get shown the door. IOP - There was a lady named Sarah Jane more than a few years back who was IOP personified. Turns out she liked it better that way, made her enjoy the one off romantic aspect of a session as opposed to straight commerce.

I've had a couple of providers break down and start crying with personal issues, walked out after listening and never returned

I could see where that may be a deal breaker. So it would depend on the situation for me. I don't need drama! But I also realize that everyone has real life situations.

If you mean “what’s going on” as in your RW issues then no I don’t want to hear it. If I wanted to hear drama I could read Dear Abby. Now if you mean “what’s going on” during the session such as what you like and dislike then yes I want to do my best to please. If a provider is really into the time we’re together it’s good for me also.

Yes I know a lot of times the Ladies fake it, but for the most part you can tell if she really is into it.

I may be off base here, but if you have that much anxiety when seeing a new client, perhaps you need to work on anxiety relief with a health care professional or this job isn’t for you. I’m sure given the nature of the job and legitimate security concerns, a bit of butterflies isn’t unheard of. But if you’ve screened properly, your real risk is probably fairly low. And anxiety is only going to make you appear more vulnerable and less attractive. But I’d still think significant enough anxiety to change your behavior is pretty rare. Ask some of you colleagues. If they say that it is rare, talk to a physician or psychiatrist about techniques or Ned’s than can lower your response to situations that trigger your anxiety.

Once I have a phone conversation (not text) and do my due-diligence...I have ZERO butterflies. The last few mins prior to a client arrival...I'm more concerned with "am I ready"...shower, hair, makeup, candles, music and setting the mood.

How many ladies insist on a phone conversation? Sounds like a good idea.

I do set's the tone for who you about to meet
talking to each other before makes the meeting that much better and easy going
A voice can tell you a lot about a person
or even more .

I cannot speak for anyone but myself. If you are going to charge me for listening to your issues then something is wrong. Talk about anything you want for as long as you want as long as the clock is not running on the time the gentleman has paid you for.

Flip it around. If you went to a mechanic to get your car worked on and were told this repair will cost $100 per hour, would you want that mechanic diagnosing and working on fixing your car or talking about their personal problems. If the mechanic spent 30 minutes working on your car and 90 minutes talking about the wife, kids, friends or family would you want to be billed for 2 hours?
