To put it all into perspective, with the decline of the oilfield from 2014 till present date most providers have moved on. West Texas has an influx and there’s plenty of talent to be found. “Your going to pay heavily for it”

My travels find that Houston, Dallas, Fortworth, Denver, San Antonio, Pittsburgh, Atlanta and West Texas seem to offer some of the best talent out there.

Lafayette may eventuality come back, but oil prices need to reach $80 a barrel for it to do so.

Agreed, people need to come to terms with our current state of affairs as the new normal base line.


Thankfully my company has managed to diversify out of the oil and gas sector and into wind power, navy and some others. It's a long slow migration though.


LNG is a bandwagon to jump on now though. We're at the beginning of what I anticipate to be quite the LNG explosion.

Flights are cheaper than ever if you know how to bargain hunt especially since some of you gentleman already are used to traveling and finding ways to do so. Maybe fly in some of your gals or find a lady from home base who will travel with you. Can always find a way to meet in the middle for both parties to feel the encounter was worth while. I used to find plenty of good quality poon in Lake Charles.
BP shut down and killed it.
Eccie was never a good thing in LC. Most of the girls went there when I wasn't in town. With all the construction workers and 5 good casinos in the area, it's dead.
