Is that what I said?? I'm not sure where you got that from. I said I don't think it had to do with the first assumption you made and it doesn't have anything to do with the second one either..
I didn't give you a reason because I don't remember. And I cant speak on something I don't remember. I don't recall a client getting ahold of me and telling me I gave false info out about seeing them. I don't know the situation. So its really pointless for me to speak on. I HAVE NEVER given info out on a reference that I knew wasn't true. I don't save pm's with clients. I save phone numbers and they are not saved under screen names. If I'm not provided a guys phone number OR if I didn't save it after our session then I cant give info I don't have. That's how I run my business over. Its not perfect by any means. But, I'm not running my business thinking about the next provider that might hit me up needing a reference cause I pay for all my screening. I have a hectic RW life and I stay to myself in the hobby. Its not being ugly or being greedy by any means. There's plenty of clients out there. I'm just self involved with my business.
And even if I made a mistake I don't remember a guy getting a hold of me and telling me I did. BUT, I'm human and it happens. People make mistakes. If you don't take me as a reference...ok. I'm not gonna argue with you or anything. Ok
If a client reaches out and says hey do reference check I always made sure it gets done. I have countless unanswered reference check replies that are sitting in my sent folder right now that were never opened by the provider that requested it. I don't give them the same priority as other
I spend a lot of money on screening and out a lot energy into screening. Because I learned early on not to put my business on hold waiting for a provider that may or may not get back to me. I stopped completely using references when a well known provider gave a "yes, he's great" for a guy with countless alerts and is dangerous. And I'm not putting my safety in the hands of providers that I see on the board everyday in the middle of drama.
cage196 There is no attitude involved here. There is no reason to take it that way. I'm not going to argue with anyone when I know I have good intentions and if a mistake is made..ok, then I made one.admit it and I move on. Life goes on
