Grace, I am sorry, but I significantly disagree with you. By claiming ECCIE is primarily low end is no more accurate than the OP'S claim that it is the mid-upper end. It has a wide spectrum. And as with most free markets there is more demand at the lower end, so proportionally there is more supply as well. But the lower end a tally seems LESS represented on here.

I see occasionally prices on here as low as $50, and I know there are ladies here who have minimums above $2,000. If you said there are a few ladies above that level, I would certainly agree with you, but for you to claim that the range up to one or two thousand for a few hours (not overnight) is low-middle, I would say you are wrong.

And I have just addressed price points. But the same is true for quality--in all its forms. There are MANY ladies on here who are FAR FAR above "little above BP".

I think that providers rates should be lower to ensure affordability to all. Everybody doesn't make $85,000 per year. What about the old guys who live on Social Security? $300 is nearly half of their monthly income. They should be able to afford providers, too. I think that charging by percentage of client's income would make things a little more equal. opinions?

When you talk about the average rate you are not taking into consideration what is available at each price point. You can still get a $20 BJ in your car on a side street in any drug infested neighborhood in the US. This certainly brings down your average when you are talking about price only. Most ladies that have access to the internet are not interested in the $20 model of doing business. In the class of workers that you are hopefully addressing on this board your averages will be a little higher. A quick glance of providers that can string a sentence together and I would estimate the average in the $350 range for the hour. Pretty much what you said the average is. But who wants to be average? If you are looking for an above average experience from an above average provider then you will need to step it up a bit.

For the new ladies starting out I think the OP has given terrible advice. Start out and continue to charge a rate that makes you happy to do your job. Something that motivates you to develop your business to it''s fullest. Don't start off trying to get as many clients as you can at a low rate. Those guys are not going to see you in the long term when you finally raise your rates up to the number that makes you smile. The guys who pay the higher rates are a much easier group of guys to work with. They treat you so much better. You set the expectation of respect for yourself and you will attract men who respect you.

I suppose most ladies set their price than makes them comfortable. I know a lady in Dallas who comes and gets in Hobby who charges far less than she is worth. When she is playing she sturs quite the excitement among tha boys. She could in my mind get $400- $500, but sets her hour at a mere $200. I've spoken to her a few times and she is concerned about gaining the reputation of "GPS". She usually ends her run with ns/nc's. that absolutely pisses everyone off and ready to tar and feather her. If she charged a reasonable cost in relation to what she is worth she may hang around a while. But who knows.

It occured to me that someone could derive reasonably useful statistics on escort rates, even trend with time and geographic variation, by extracting the rate information from all the reviews posted on all the local forums here. I'm too lazy, maybe this idea will help some worthy graduate student write their thesis.

I have an idea for ya. Go to your local community churches... convince the pastors of this "need". See if the ladies in the church would care to institute a ministry to service such "need". It could even be funded with the benevolence funds. Would certainly give a whole new meaning to "meals on wheels"
